Prison Law Case Worker

Anna started in the law as a Legal Secretary more than twenty years ago predominantly in Crime but also in other areas.

In the late 90s she started to act as Legal Assistant working with the late Patrick Haworth in Crime. Together they developed a Prison Law team, which joined Pickup & Scott in late 2007.

In April 2009 Anna obtained a Prison Law Certificate from Crime Line Training Ltd.

Anna has good communication and people skills and gains satisfaction from helping to solve prisoners’ problems and supporting the Legal Aid system. She has developed a network of experienced and successful Barristers to call upon for advice and assistance.

Amongst other matters, Anna deals with adjudications, oral and paper hearings, appeals, IPP recalls/reviews and lifer re-categorisations.

Anna also has a B.A. in Fine Arts, is a qualified ballet teacher and has a purple belt in Karate.
