Specialist Immigration Help

Our team of immigration solicitors and caseworkers can offer you an expert service and advice on a range of immigration, nationality and asylum matters. We have the expertise and knowledge to deal with your immigration matter and guide you through what can be a very stressful time in your life.

There is a wealth of information about UK immigration available to the public, and it would be tempting to think that by surfing the internet, reading the newspaper or by word of mouth they can find enough information to be able to lodge their application successfully. However, UK Immigration is a complex area of law and in order to ensure a successful application, it is prudent to obtain specialist advice.

Applications to the UK Border Agency are not mere formalities which require form filling and providing the information requested. Obtaining specialist advice can give individuals clear insight into the requirements for various applications.

On some occasions it may not be made sufficiently clear to applicants ALL the information that they are required to provide with their application to the Visa Department, which results in their application being refused due to a lack of vital information.

At Pickup & Scott we understand that every immigration case is unique and all applications need to be assessed individually, compiled carefully and completely.

We offer specialized immigration services to suit your immigration needs.

What Do We Offer?

Fixed Fee Initial Consultation at £150(+Vat*)

We offer an initial or a one-off consultation where you can discuss your case with us and we advise you on the strengths and weaknesses of your case and possible strategic ways forward.

When you contact us, please be ready to tell us:

  • your country of origin and present nationality
  • how long you have been in the UK
  • your present immigration status
  • any family in the country and their immigration status
  • your name, address and telephone number

* if applicable.

Once you have made an appointment please bring your immigration documents and any letters you have received from the Home Office.

After the appointment we will send you a letter with well researched information and expert advice to help you make a measured decision with regards to what steps to take and what visa application to pursue.

You can then decide if you want us to represent you and help take things further, at which point we will discuss costs and other arrangements.

What help is available?

If you do not have enough money to pay for legal advice, you may be entitled to public funding (Legal Aid) from the Legal Services Commission.

We have a contract to provide free Legal Aid in Immigration and Asylum cases.
